I was truly impressed with the service shop here at first. Unfortunately that has changed. I bought a Land Rover online in December and brought it in for a used car inspection. At that time the car was asking for coolant. The inspection found a couple of normal issues (brakes, tire wear, etc.) but nothing immediate or broken. The purpose of the inspection was to identify any problems so I could either return the car during the 7-day grace period or negotiate a lower price if any work needed to be done. Fast forward two months and the car continued to ask for coolant, so I brought it back to be checked again. A pipe and also the radiator were found to be leaking. I understand a pipe or fitting can crack and bust at any time on a car with 60k miles, but I believe the radiator issue was pre-existing and missed by the inspection. The car did come with a 100-day warranty on major mechanical, but between the deductible and parts the warranty didn't cover I had a $470 bill (for $2100 worth of work that was needed). I really wish the inspection would have caught this problem. I lost the opportunity to make a different decision about my initial purchase, and am also out $470. I asked my service advisor for either a refund of the inspection cost ($250) or the cost of this service visit; I was offered a $250 credit toward future service costs. I thanked him, and said that doesn't really resolve the problem. This is the second costly 'mistake' I've experienced at this dealership in the last six months. Back in September I bought a car here for a family member who lives out of state; it was a smooth process and the sales guy was very easy to work with, except afterward the registration was filed incorrectly three separate times (causing frustration on the part of my family member, during an already stressful situation requiring the purchase of a new car in the first place). The plates were not received until December. I know this is a long review and Google might not be the best place for it; I'm trying to fairly present my experiences with this dealership so that others can be aware. I will think twice before returning here for sales or service.

The parts manager told me the ignition can't be fixed. Which would render the car junk if it cant be started. I began looking online and it sure can. I took the ignition tumbler out myself sent it in to be rebuilt and put it back in. Works perfect! I wouldn't trust this place with a toy matchbox car. This after waiting there for over an hour for assistance. Pathetic!
