        This year my wife and I lived in three states, got married, and moved some money from retirement accounts and investments. To be safe, we decided to hire a CPA for the first time to help us with our taxes. Somehow, preparing our taxes cost us almost $2500. Unfortunately, the hourly rate was never told to us ahead time, and when asked about the process and details regarding the cost, only minimal information was provided. If you have a relatively simple tax situation, I advise you to hire anyone but HG & K.
