Matthew is the best!!!!! He was so knowledgeable and kind during our tour and didnt hesitate to answer any of our questions! You can really tell that he cares about all potential and current residents. He has been quickly answering all of our emails post-tour as well. The building itself is brand new and is so gorgeous! The apartments all have great natural light and are very spacious!

Matthew kindly provided me with a virtual tour via FaceTime while I'm in Asia. Despite asking numerous questions that could have been annoying, he patiently answered them all. He introduced me to all the units I was interested in, and I realized that the photos accurately represent the real apartments. I'm completely drawn to this apartment and have decided to apply here. I hope the maintenance services for this apartment remain as excellent as they are now because everything seems perfect at the moment.

Mathew was our tour guide when we went to visit these apartments. His aura sold the unit. Very warm and welcome invite, the modern look at The Station at Malcom Yards was breathtaking. Appears to be a lovely home to reside in. Gave Loft feel.

My girlfriend and I moved in about 3 months ago, essentially right when the building opened and was unfinished. I waited to write my review until I was sure of what I wanted to say, and it's mostly good! First and foremost, Matthew is an amazing guide and an incredible person. He's very personable, knowledgeable, honest and easy to get along with. It's not often that you get to meet someone like him who is so authentic. I respect that highly and couldn't be happier to have worked with him. As far as the building goes. It's 7 floors with all (as of writing) brand new units. If you're moving in now, you're the first person using anything in there, which was a big draw for us. The second floor has a pet potty area and a lounge that includes a pool and shuffleboard table, theatre room, gaming room, a ton of TVs, fireplaces and around 5 or so grills on the balcony. On the 7th floor there's a Sky Lounge which is a smaller version of the other lounge. One room with a TV that leads to a balcony with a grill. It's cozy and I've done work there a few times on my laptop. There's a gym and yoga room (two different rooms) with a bunch of new equipment. It's honestly amazing and we've used it consistently. Saves money on a gym membership. The lobby has a living plant wall and a ton of plants all around. There's a coffee machine (With no cups. Come on guys!) for residents at no additional cost, free dog treats, fruits and a bunch of conference/work pods. It would be nice to have Wi-Fi to use in those rooms because as it is, I can only use my hotspot and it's kind of weak in those pods. Really great for group meetings though. There's a mail area for outgoing/incoming mail and a package area that uses the parcel pending system. Packages get locked up in individual lockers that you scan a bar code that gets emailed to you to unlock them. Sometimes the packages get left on the ground in that room and I'm not sure why. Some of my stuff has been left on the floor even though I addressed it properly. Maybe it's Amazon doing their job badly but be aware. There are cameras in the room in case anything gets stolen which, to my knowledge, hasn't happened yet. At least not to me. There's a retail area that is currently unused. I'm hoping for a Starbucks (my wallet isn't). No ETA for something being put there. There's a garage that you have to pay to use with EV charging at no additional cost. At the time of writing, it's $150 per month. TAKE THE TURNS SLOW DOWN THERE. People need to learn to drive. We've nearly collided more than 5 times with people while going down there. I think it's because there are solid concrete slabs that obstruct vision going down. Bars/rods would be far better so we can see who is coming around the corner. That's still no excuse for drivers who blaze through those turns. Seriously, get better at driving people. If you're planning on moving in and have furniture, there are no large freight elevators. There are two elevators in the lobby and an elevator on each of the opposite sides of the building. The dimensions of the elevator are ~6'x5.5'x8.5'. We got our couch in but getting it through the door was a pain. Our neighbor opposite of our unit (shout out to J!) opened their door and let us slide our couch into their unit so we could wiggle it into ours. Average utility costs, as least for us, is $40ish for electric, $55ish for gas and Wifi, provided by Xfinity whose price varies based on your package. There's a payment portal app that works solidly. No real complaint. You can even use apple pay which is new in my experience. Maintenace requests usually get responses within 48 hours and emergencies are 24/7 same day. All in all, I don't regret moving in. 99% of the tenets have been a joy to interact with, management is easy to contact and is receptive to communication and the community is great. Surly and the Market being a 1 minute walk away at the most is an added benefit. Train is also very close by to those who commute by that!
