If I could rate no stars, I would. We are trying to sell our lake home to a couple who, unfortunately, decided to use Preferred Rate Mortgage out of Bloomington, MN. Their loan officer, Russell Hillyer, dropped the ball on their mortgage processing and we are a week out from when we should have closed with no sign on when our buyer's mortgage is going to be approved. Preferred Mortgage out of Bloomington, Minnesota knows how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Terrible. Run for the hills and avoid this firm at all costs!
