Horribly misleading and a massive waste of time. Avoid at all costs and do your best to find somewhere better.

When you fill out a form for Varsity Tutors, they aggressively contact you on email, text, and voicemail simultaneously and they don't stop. I have four voicemails from them and three texts even though I've emailed them to knock it off. Makes you immediately question their ethics and definitely not want your kids to be anywhere near them. Please take me off your list and stop calling me and don't do this to other tired parents trying to juggle their lives and not be pushed into sales calls. Happy to take this review down when you do. Thanks!

UPDATE: I emailed the below email address 11/30/2023 and the customer service team did not even respond to the email! I am extremely disappointed in this tutoring service. They will charge your card after you have already requested a pause on the membership and then refuse all attempts to get the refund. Also, just to pause the membership is at least a 30 minute phone call which leads to the card being charged anyway. They will also exploit teenagers and coerce them into not pausing their membership. This company is fraud and I would go literally anywhere else. Save your money and never sign up for Varsity tutors!

UPDATE - Kim the customer manager reached out to me, was very understanding as to the fact that I wasnt properly qualified when I was originally signed up for tutoring. Offered me a refund for the missed months and gave me her personal contact for any further issues. I was very satisfied with this outcome. The general quality of tutors was great. HOWEVER read your contract closely. They WILL hook you into auto renew for the same expensive price, even if you are not signed up with class or matched with a tutor. The phone representatives will tell You one thing but its not true because all that matters if your contract. I have Been trying to deal with getting compensated for the fact that I was told my contract was over on the phone and it was indeed not. Lost out on 100s of dollars due to this issue. They rely heavily, on the fact that they know people dont read the terms of conditions and hook people into auto renew when they are not using services. All around seems like a pretty scummy business practice. Im not blaming the representatives they definitely do their best to help you, but they are left at the mercy of the company.
