Im concerned that this organization has poor representation of employees of color and older individuals. I am over 50 and also a person of color , after jumping through multiple hoops, including extensive testing, I was offered a position working with direct care staff. I accepted and while this was not the position I interviewed for, I was eager to start. I was told that ACR hires the best of the best; I had high expectations of the staff I would be interacting with, especially as I trained and went through onboarding. Unfortunately, the office staff did not treat me with high regard, nor were they responsive to my questions. I dont normally give poor reviews but I do think it is important to call this organization out for discriminatory practices. Diversity makes an organization better, richer. Fear is smothering.I hope others have a better experience.

I have worked at ACR for 3 years now and absolutely love my job and what I am able to do for others through employment here! Being a direct care professional has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I am grateful to have met some amazing coworkers and residents. I feel valued as an employee and there are great opportunities for advancement within the company. I highly highly recommend this job to anyone looking to make a difference in people's lives!

I have been working for ACR Homes for over a year now and I absolutely love the job & the residents! In the future I am going to physician assistant (PA) school. Working for ACR has taught me valuable skills that I will need in my future education and career. I liked that ACR Homes provided all of the necessary medical training. The training was beneficial because they are skills I will need in the future including CPR and first-aid. Another reason that I love working for ACR Homes is because of the residents. I have built lasting relationships with my residents that I will cherish for a lifetime. I only have positive things to say about ACR and would highly recommend the job to anyone!

the amount of testing they do during the interview process is hilarious. This is a job that pays less than 20$ an hour yet they want you to prove you know how to do measurement math, image remembering, etc. I felt like I was applying to some high end CIA job. Have fun sitting at a computer doing math problems for a direct care position for over an hour. It's also timed. Don't finish it? too bad.

ACR Homes is an amazing company! I have worked here for almost 3 years and cannot imagine leaving anytime soon. I have formed the sweetest relationships with residents and coworkers I work with. I look forward to going to work and knowing that the work I do is meaningful. I have learned so much working at ACR; I have been able to gain hands-on experience working with medical equipment, learned how to advocate for others, and gained additional experience working collaboratively with others. As a student, I have really appreciated the flexibility that ACR provides; there are shifts 24/7, and my supervisors have always been accommodating to my schedule. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this company, and highly recommend working for ACR!
