I have loved living here! I recommend everyone I know looking for a new apartment to Victoria Park Apartments! The staff are great, I have never had an issue that wasn't solved quickly. The neighbors and neighborhood are lovely as well.

Dont waste your time.
I was hesitant to schedule a showing after reading the overwhelming negative reviews calling out the unprofessional behavior of the leasing agents. I should have listened.
I scheduled an apartment tour this morning. I took the morning off to view this property. I was told by the leasing agent, Christopher May, to meet him at the 750 Otto building and to make sure to be on time.
I arrived before just before 9AM. No one greeted me. I contacted the rental office. It went to voice mail. I left a message. Waited. Called again. It went to voice mail.
After about 5 minutes someone at the front desk buzzed me in but had no idea why I was there. The agent at the desk went back into the office then after 5 minutes came back to tell me the unit I was going to view had been applied for and I needed to go to another building (no address, no apartment number) to see a different unit. Still no contact from the original agent.
The lobby of the 750 Otto building smells like dog. One of the seating areas had coffee stains on the benches.
The leasing agents are unprofessional and rude.

Lived here for just under 2 years. Great location. Running/walking trails all around. Clean apartments and maintenance staff was nice and prompt. Always had good experiences with management and the front desk staff. Occasionally they had free food and drink social events. I'd recommend living here.

While I typically refrain from writing reviews, I feel compelled to caution others about this apartment. Renting here was a regrettable decision. Early on, my attempts to communicate via email were met with silence, prompting my roommate to visit the main office in person just to schedule a tour. This initial red flag should have deterred me from proceeding with the lease.
The issues, however, persisted. Shortly after signing, management requested a delayed move-in date due to the previous tenants still occupying the space. It begs the question why they allowed us to sign a lease under such circumstances. On the morning of our scheduled move-in, we were informed that the carpet installation wasn't yet completed. We were presented with the option to either postpone our move or navigate around the installers.
Once we finally settled in, it was painfully evident that the carpet was of poor quality and haphazardly installed. I can't help but wonder if this subpar carpeting is deliberately chosen to extract fees from departing tenants. Maintaining its condition is nearly impossible. Given the expense, I wouldn't recommend residing in this outdated apartment. The apartment halls have an unpleasant odor and to make matters worse, packages are frequently stolen. Unsure how they can even charge their current apartment prices at the rate they do with these issues.
The level of professionalism exhibited by management is sorely lacking. I received numerous emails riddled with misspelled words and incorrect names, along with unfulfilled promises. The sole silver lining in this experience was the competence of the maintenance staff; I encountered no issues in that regard.
I am immensely relieved to have left this apartment. The exorbitant fees associated with moving out only added insult to injury, compounded by their audacity to inquire about early departure. While I am assuming they once again signed a lease to start the date of our moveout. If I could, I would review this place with zero stars, as I'm genuinely baffled by how it remains operational.
