The staff is very friendly (Travis and Nicholas are sweethearts!) Justin and Anthony were very prompt and thoughtful when addressing my maintenance request! The property honestly speaks for itself - elite amenities, luxury fixtures in the apartment, beautiful views, cute resident events...what more can you ask for?

It's okay. Some of the front office staff can be a bit condescending at times. Seem to cater to a younger crowd. Not planning to stay long. ETA: In my one year of living here, they've made a few accounting "mistakes" that required quite a bit of labor and persistence on my end to disprove. The most recent one involved this mysterious "remaining balance" on my account which certainly made no sense to me, and whose source couldn't really be pinpointed with accuracy by anyone in the office either. At one point, still before they could really tell me what the remaining balance was FOR, I was told that I would need to pay a portion of it by a certain date or be taken to court. I ended up calling their corporate office, explaining the situation, and the gentleman there was able to find that my first rent check had never been received. Fortunately I kept my receipt for it and sent it to him. They were then able to discover that this check had been credited to the wrong account! Oops! I am moving out in a couple months and am anticipating more stress and work (on my part) just to not get scammed yet again thanks to another "mistake" or maybe something on their LONG list of potential "move out" charges. If you ever decide to live here, KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING, AND DO NOT LET YOURSELF BE GASLIT WHEN THEY ACT LIKE THEIR BILLING SYSTEM AND PRACTICES ARE NORMAL. THEY'RE NOT.

I've been at Moda for a bit over six months. A bit of a serial mover, I've lived in several apartment buildings throughout the Twin Cities. Moda has been a particularly nice experience over others for a few reasons: 1. The management team is consistently visible and highly responsive. They seem to genuinely care and know the tenants (and their dogs). 2. The maintenance team stays on top of regular cleaning to keep common areas looking fresh. Yesterday, one of them was even outside picking up litter around the building. It was nice to see care taken for the exterior to benefit the aesthetics of the neighborhood in addition to upkeep of the interior spaces. 3. The units are modern and well designed. Even the smaller ones make a smart use of space. My 670 feels quiet spacious compared to some of the other one bedrooms in other buildings. 4. The amenities are nice. I especially love the patio. The pool is small (more like a large hot tub size), but perfect for a relaxing cool off on hot summer days. There's also a fenced offleash dog run area on the patio, which comes in handy. It is especially helpful when my little furry buddy needs to potty during the night and I prefer to stay close to home. There was briefly a problem with some tenants not picking up after their dogs, and management swiftly dealt with it. Additionally, there are multiple indoor gathering spaces, including a rooftop patio. My only complaint is that the machine at the coffee bar breaks down regularly. Not sure what they can do about that, though. It sees a LOT of use, as it provides free espresso, coffee, cocoa, tea, and more. 5. There's a decent amount of free parking nearby. The underground parking garage is convenient if you don't mind paying extra for it.

I was the first to review Moda. I left a 5-star on google. Halfway through my stay, I hate to say but my experience deteriorated rapidly. Worst of all, at the conclusion of the lease, it took many phone calls, many unanswered emails, and 7 weeks (!) after moving out to get the deposit and the prorated last month of rent refunded. To be fair, the check was postmarked 6 weeks after I moved out, but it was mailed to my Moda address even though I had obviously moved AND had provided my forwarding address as instructed. Luckily, I have the USPS change of address. Still, 6 weeks Thank you for reading. Sadly, there are still outstanding issues. I hope the Moda team can proactively work with me. The issues can be found in your call logs and unanswered email inbox (both the property managers email and the MOR email address).
