My favorite spot in downtown Saint Paul. Come here before a wild game, after a wedding or just to say hi to the best bartenders. Food is delicious and the bar is beautiful!

Came in before a show at a theatre next door for quick appetizers, was met with a very rude waitress. As soon as Angela came to our table, it seemed like we were inconveniencing her by just being there. When we wanted to order our appetizers right away, she stopped us and started arguing with us, that she needed to get our drink orders first. I have never been spoken to by a server the way that Angela did. It was obvious we had annoyed her as she brought us our appetizers without a word and slammed the plates down on the table. I have never been so uncomfortable.

Stopped by before attending a show at the theater next door. Even though it was dead, our waitress acted like we ruined her day by being there. She brought 9 waters and we ordered some drinks while waiting for another family to join us. We got our drinks and once our friends arrived, we decided wed order some apps and I was going to get some soup. The waitress arrived and my friend asked if we could order fries & cheese curds. The waitress said she was going to get drink orders first. My friend explained that we were going to a show and that we were just going to order a few apps. The waitress rudely said shes going to take their drink orders first. My friend look appalled but politely said ok. Our whole table got quiet, we were all shocked how rude she was, it was very uncomfortable. She asked for their drink order. After they all said they wanted water and everyone already had water, the only thing she had to do was take our food order. She walked away from our table, we thought she was going to leave. She went to the end of the table and asked what food we wanted to order. My friend very politely re-iterated fries and cheese curds, I didnt dare order the soup. The waitress walked away w/o saying anything. She never said a word to us when she dropped off the food, even after all of our nervous kids said thank you when she dropped off the food. After the event at the theater, we went to the pillbox which was super busy and the waitress let us order our food the same time as our drinks. And she was even friendly. I waitresses for years and cant comprehend treating customers the way we were treated, especially with kids at the table.
