If you're thinking about DIYing your floor refinishing project, don't go anywhere else but Pete's! Maybe you save $10 on equipment rental at a big box store, but the incredible customer service at Pete's is worth quadruple that. The ability to practice with the actual equipment you're renting on an actual hardwood floor at the shop gave us so much confidence in our ability to do this project. Kadee helped us set a realistic timeline given the scope of our project and provided invaluable and speedy assistance via text message while we were mid-sanding. They were flexible with us when we needed an extra night with the buffer - such a blessing, given we were trying to save as much money on this project as possible.
