        There are plenty of walking trails and some very nice scenery as well. Fishing pier, picnic areas, grills, and even a boat launch on the Minnesota River side under the big bridge! It's a great escape and so close. Go visit!

        March 9th, we had a wing it day because it was sunny and somewhat warm. Hit Fort Snelling at 3:05 pm. Natalie met us at the gift shop to tell us that the last tour went out at 2:30. She said, wait here. She got her coat, grabbed a golf cart key and gave us a private tour. We can't thank you enough Natalie for your kindness today. Tammy Medin and Katie Jenkins.
