A great school. The instructor has a lifetime of experience in multiple forms of martial arts and teaches them with historical/traditional context and seeks it's innovation in a modern context.

The Sifu is patient with the most beginner of learners but also has the experience & knowledge to challenge & push the most seasoned of fighters. The opportunities from the various workshops that are available from esteemed visiting instructors such as Scott Rodell for sword fighting & there is something new coming up soon too! Details for members! :D I believe there is something for everybody at the Association because they offer many different types of classes. As soft, slow, & gentle as Tai Chi for people who can't do high exertion or are trying to repair from a sports injury, this is a great place to start, then the Wing Chun/Pak Mei moves it up & if you want the more high exertion there is also a kick boxing class & then of course weapons classes & workshops. If you have NEVER done martial arts & are curious, if you're trying to get back on the horse, or if you're looking for a REAL dojo with a REAL sifu (if u know what I mean) one who exudes & implements the true views & values of martial arts. Not just trying to get u to the next belt to make his school look good. But actually teaching you because he cares about you deeply knowing the art. He is the Sifu you stick with, to become a true Master one day; not just "a guy with a belt."
