Road is not maintained and prone to mudslides. AAA will not assist. Park does have a variety of birds such as bald eagles and great blue herons.

Absolutely can't figure out where this place is. Directions don't get you there. Address listed doesn't get you there. Read the reviews and those directions didn't help us get there. Edit: We eventually found it after we waited until the big machinery wasn't working in the yard. We were elated at how beautiful it was out there even though the ticks are absolutely swarming. We lost count of them, and honestly, counting how many ticks we find is sort of a weird badge of pride. Like "Can you believe we pulled 15 ticks off one pant leg?" You have to constantly pick them off your dogs, or the ticks could possibly take over, performing a Rattattouie-type act just walking away with your furry friends. Anyway, everything was great until the trail disappeared. The trail seems to be an idea that was abandoned. It would be a five star experience if the trail was finished or even minimally mowed down.
