I worked here as an assistant manager for almost 4 years and it's constantly been plagued by the most incompetent general management. I've witnessed my bosses send food to customers off the ground.(james) The delivery area makes giving an accurate delivery time next to impossible. Every day there's not enough people there to complete the most basic of tasks. The only people that ever seem to be trusted are the personal friends of any district manager that's ever been in their service. Every time customers seem happier with the service the workers are put through more hoops to help them by the upper management. One of my coworkers was forced to close after taking their child to the ER all evening. Most of the good help they had I recruited myself. Trained myself. The store was opened in a swamp/mostly abandoned strip mall. And the employees are constantly berated by both customers and the upper management for it not being busy enough to pay people. I would not recommend eating here or working here. They do not seem to value their staff or anyone trying to make the location better. The advertised rate of $35/hr for Driving is a blatant lie, it's 10$ an hour with minimal reimbursement on miles and keeping their tips. Most drivers only take home 20-40 NIGHTLY unless they are an opener or closer. The current district manager won't do his job and puts his personal friends in positions of power. He promises his staff raises based on proficiency over two months ago, removes permissions to help customers effectively or get the food out in a reasonable time. They have cut almost every employee to unlivable hours and wages. Times they aren't available. Old general managers were paying minors to close for them. You may recognize my name as the assistant manager in many of the good reviews the store had. And I apologize for the lack in quality without me there. I was the only staff member with an active food safety permit consistently in 4 years. I was told I would be getting raises over two months ago and was lied to by upper management. I was told I would run this store and all the work I put in would be worth the effort. They want nothing more but to run a business where they overcharge customers and not pay thier workers adequately. I did over 80+ weeks of overtime picking up the slack in the store. Offered to stay for $20/hr since I was doing literally every job function, fixing others paperwork they missed and essentially sending everyone home and doing it myself. They hire people that cannot do the job (really embarrassing if you can't clean a dish) or get with the program. They were asking me to close as a driver for a 8 dollar pay cut after being approved for my manager rate while driving for years prior. This business is ran by clowns, there's no surprise the turnover rate is so high. Dietary restrictions: I was the only employee that knew how to actually serve gluten free safe food. Parking: Location shares parking with a fitness class so during peak hours/the class the lot is very full.
