This was my second tarp bought from Tarps. First one lasted 14years. Communication was lacking and the color scheme of the tarp I was told it would be changed and while functional, is an eye sore for my application. Overall price was good.

Tarps repaired a boat lift canopy for me. Completed the job before expected and charged a very fair price. Great to deal with!

I feel like I was not taken good care of at Tarps. I bought my first boat and asked Tarps to make me a new cover. I had a J-Clip style cover that they couldnt repair. I told Tarps I did a few out of town trips a year along with local trailering. Tarps steered me away from a J-Clip style and suggested a snap cover instead (due to cost and being superior for my use case). I didnt get 5 minutes from the shop before losing 10 snaps. Tarps sewed a pitch pole in the bow to help break the wind but I still lost snaps. They suggested drilling more snaps into my boat to anchor the cover. Tarps said the snaps might have issues at high winds but even at 45 mph on a calm day my snaps dont hold. I got multiple other professional opinions and all agreed that both the quality of snaps was inferior and the placement of the snaps contributed to the issue (above the rub rail). I kindly asked Tarps for a refund as I clearly explained my trailering use and they provided me a product that was insufficient. They denied my refund. I contacted my credit card company asking for reversal but it was denied because they said I came to Tarps asking for a snap cover which is 100% false. Now Im out $1100 PLUS the cost to repair 30+ snaps in my boat PLUS needing a new cover. I would suggest others go to other shops if theyre in need of a new boat cover. Im so disappointed with my decision to contact Tarps. As a new boat owner I trusted them to provide me a product for my use and was completely let down.
