Clayton L, I have to echo your comment. When I fell on some hard times I got a little behind on my HOA dues. After I got a nastygram from their lawyers, I called to try to make payment arrangements. I got Dan Smith on the phone, and he came across as condescending and extremely antagonistic right from the get-go. You were too kind to him by referring to him as a "professional". He may have knowledge of the business, but his people skills are nonexistent. I'm guessing he has a background in debt collection, because he wears that hat quite well.

Dan Smith is, hands-down, the worst business professional I have ever attempted to work with. His etiquette is non-existent, and he's far more concerned with making the client feel guilt and shame than attempting to serve the client. Avoid him at all costs.

I never received my 1099 (misc) statement for my tax records. It is the payers responsiblity to furnish statements by February 1st. I made multiple request to Smith Accounting Services, and never received any statement!
They finally called the 1st week of March... left me a message telling me the amount they filed in my name...pretty lame & unprofessional to say the least.
Plus, the total amount was off because they added personal payments that shouldn't be taxed because they were reimbursements for materials that have already been taxed when purchased at store. It isn't income!!
