Probably one of the worst experiences Ive had with the worst communication. I set up an initial appointment online and filled out all the paperwork. The appointment never showed me which dr I would be seeing even though I got several text messages asking me to confirm my appointment. It also told me to complete the forms multiple times even when I did (almost twice) thinking I missed something. When it came time for the actual appointment, the only question I was asked was if I had an insurance card and then to wait to be seen. Once I was taken back and confirmed it was my first time seeing them, the assistant said she would take some X-rays and wed go from there. I was then placed in a closet sized room with a small tv with hgtv thrown on. I was never asked if I even wanted the tv on. She tried doing X-rays in the room and after explaining that I have a very small mouth, and we tried the pieces, they were too large and I refused to do them. She said ok I have to go talk to the dr then and see what she wants to do next. She didnt come back or check on me for over 30 minutes!! when she and the dentist did come in, she opened my mouth for 30 seconds and said she wasnt worried about my teeth at all. I asked if I would get a cleaning to then be told the hygienists dont even work that late. They asked if I set up the appointment online and it says that initial appointments dont get cleanings which I completely was ok with going into it. But, what I am not ok was no one telling me the entire time that was not even an option for the time I requested. How does that even make sense?? I am a person with high anxiety when it comes to the dentist. To sit there in a closet sized room for over 30 minutes with no window and no communication what was going on was torture. To also have a scheduling system that isnt functioning properly is extremely frustrating. Dont offer it then. Lesson learned. Wont be back. I wasnt impressed.

Very happy with the dental work that was done. The hygienist and doctor cared greatly about my comfort during the process.

I came to Lake Minnetonka Dental to get a new crown and had the best, most professional dental experience. Everyone was very helpful and professional!
