I used to love my job and the company I worked for I got along well with everyone, worked a lot of hours (usually 48/week), always felt like I was appreciated, was even offered an opportunity to get montessori specific training and they'd pay for it! I really felt like this was the best place on the planet. Fast forward I became pregnant and asked for a reduction in hours (down to 40/week because my body was exhausted) and things changed drastically. The opportunity for me to further my education was no longer on the table, and things began to become extremely stressful at work. The director of the company yelled at me in front of parents dropping off their kids, and constantly fought with me any time I had a question. I thought a lot of things were in my head and once I got back to working normal hours after my maternity leave things would go back to normal. I don't know if things would've been back to normal or not since the company never got back to me about returning to work, and I wasn't able to return due to this. I was afraid to even write a review because the company is small and everyone will know who wrote this. I'm saddened to not return, but feel a need to warn anyone else of my experiences. They're still hiring and haven't gotten back to me about returning from maternity leave, and I finally moved on and found work elsewhere. This may be a great fit for anyone who has plenty of availability and nothing that would interfere with working over 40hrs a week. There are some really great kids and teachers at this location that I'll miss greatly! I'd still be here if they'd let me return from maternity leave since I have a lot of availability and they are able to give extra hours. P.S. they called me immediately after I posted this to offer me my job back.
