The fabric and detail caught my eye and I had to bring the bench home. I couldve settled for a store bought bench but then it wouldnt have charm or character. Jenis pieces tell a story. Think of a chic and modern twist on repurposing furniture. She picks out high end fabric and uses the bones of the furniture, if theyre still strong and willing, and brings them back life. Shes so talented and told me about the 3 years she spent as an upholstery apprentice learning the craft. Shes got this excitement and attached affection for every single rehab she does. Her boutique is retro meets vintage meets glam. I always wondered where I could find unique furniture that had eclectic style. I was stuck going from store to store where everything looks the same and is built at a factory. It feels so different to own a piece that is worked on with a loving process by an artist. This bench is also the most billowy and comfortable piece Ive sat on. I call it my retro glam pillow!

This store is a gem! So much talent under one roof. Jeni has true talent and her workmanship is top notch. I have had a few reupholstry projects done and let her choose the fabrics for me! She's like the furniture whisperer. It's magic. And her Boutique always has one of a kind pieces available! Always worth stopping in
