I recently bought a home with my boyfriend and from the beginning of the insurance process when getting quotes to the very end, Craig Huerta and his team were professional, intuitive, and beyond helpful. We never felt pressured to go with them for our homeowners insurance but decided to go with them because they were the best choice. After closing on our new home, I found out that my lender sent the title company the wrong insurance information which created a nightmare situation with trying to figure out how my correct insurance company was going to get paid. The title company and lender were both rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful in trying to find a solution to get my money back from the wrong company and get it to Craig at American Family. Craig and his team were AMAZING through this fiasco. They were understanding and so patient during the entire process. Craig stayed in contact with me even during evenings and weekends to help me figure out the situation and he was the only one offering guidance and assistance for what I had to do to get my money back from a very incompetent title company. My payment to Craig and American Family ended up being about a month late and Craig made sure that our policy stayed active, so our home stayed insured and waived the late fees for us. He made us feel important and I truly believe him when he says he loves his job and wants to do all he can to make us feel safe and supported in our first-time homebuying experience. We bundled our auto insurance with them as well and the process was easy, saved us money, and greatly helped me in a time of need.
