My experience at Goshen School of Cosmetology in Greenville, Mississippi was horrible. I was a client on June 30, 2023 (Friday) to have a very simple hair style done and it looked as if a child did my hair. One of the instructors or the person in charge was the stylist. This instructor could not perfect three braids and this is the most sloppiest work I have seen from a professional stylist. Goshen School of Cosmetology need to screen and evaluate their instructors more carefully because this lady should not be there teaching those students. This instructor's performance was as if she was a student in training and definitely not qualified to teach. The instructor would not allow the student assigned to style my hair complete the task. The instructor took over and did a horrible job. I regret not getting that instructor's name so I could state it. All the students there looked at my hair and was speechless. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. I just want the students to know that their performance and dedication is a representation of who they are. Therefore, perform your best at all times because this is your brand and a reflection of you. This is something these students will never learn from this particular instructor because it is obvious she doesn't care. The students were very professional and eager to learn, but this instructor was not the best example. This particular instructor is an African American who is short in statue and weight not proportion to height. This is the best way I can describe her since I don't know her name. She definitely should not be in the position to teach cosmetology.
