        PSA the affordable denture location on Cowan is not in network with any dental insurance. If you go there its out of your pocket. They got my 75 year old mom for $2100, even filled out the claim form stating Humana pays back claims pretty fast in about 2 weeks. Claim came back denied. Called the location and asked/answeredour dentist is not in network with any dental insurance. Spoke with their managerthey are adamant they have signs that state they do not file claims, which is not our issue. They did give us the paperwork filled out minus our insurance info. They know they are not in network with any dental provider. And when asked and given an insurance provider name, they should inform you they are not in network. They misled my mother with their statements that Humana process claims in about two weeks. The manager put it on us to call our insurance and verify that their dentist is in network before getting servicesieyou cant trust this business in my opinion to be straight forward when you ask them questions.

      Hi Mr. Stanley, as discussed, we are upfront with our patients, and have no reason to be anything other than transparent, that we do not do any filing of insurance, and everything is paid upfront/ out of pocket at time services are rendered. There is signage in our lobby at our front desk, that we do not file any insurance, nor accept any insurance. We have no way of knowing if a person's insurance will reimburse a patient or not for services rendered. We do however provide a form for the patient to submit to their insurance for the potential of being reimbursed. If the patient's insurance reimburses the patient, that is up to the patient's insurance, not our office. We also have no way of knowing how long an insurance takes to process claims, again, that is up to each particular insurance. We apologize that your mother's plan did not reimburse her, but all of that knowledge was given upfront before services. were started.
