Been going here for aesthetic needs for about a year. Most down to earth and nice staff at medical aesthetic clinic on the coast. Pricing is reasonable. Highly recommend.

Very unhappy with my results. My treatment/procedures also weren't completed and done as planned. I was not offered a refund for the services that I never received and after patiently waiting 15 months post procedure, as I was told results could take over a year to see, I have nothing less than revolting results. I look disfigured to say the least. I am now beyond embarrassed to wear clothes I wore prior to the liposuction, and can barely bring myself to be intimate with my husband as I am so embarrassed by the scaring, lumps and disproportion of this $6,000.00 "new" Trillium body. After following up about my concerns, I was told it would cost thousands more to fix the issues which I just can not afford. I will say that the team is kind and welcoming at Trillium. They are encouraging and friendly, but the results and skill are lacking.

I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately I had a terrible experience. I had lip injections done previously by another doctor (Not Doctor McKay) while I was visiting my home state. I loved them so much that when I got back to MS I was considering getting them a tiny bit bigger and also having juvederm to smooth out the small wrinkles I had around my lips and nose. After a rushed consultation, Dr.McKay injected juvederm directly into the wrinkles on the side of my nose, on the sides of my lips, and below my lips. When he was done I noticed absolutely no difference. Nothing. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed. The line on the side of my nose was still there but I kept being told by Dr.McKay and his staff that the line was "softer". I felt instant regret. $680 down the toilet all do to vanity. Although, I was disappointed with the results, or rather lack thereof, I had a little bit of juvederm left over that I wanted to be used on my lips to make them just a tad bit bigger. Another HUGE mistake. So I went back a couple of days later and asked him to put a little bit more in my top lip to "lift" it. He injected all around my top lip. He also flipped my top lip up and injected the juvederm into the pink muscle right in the middle of my top lip. This was surprising to me as my last doctor didn't do that but I didn't think much of it at the time. When he was done I saw the results and I loved them. So even though the facial fillers were a waste at least I was happy with my lips. Everything was fine until 4 days later they swelled immensely and looked ridiculous. Not only were my lips swollen, they were also lumpy, felt very heavy, and ached. There was now a huge lump in the middle of my top lip where he flipped it and injected the juvederm into the pink muscle area. I was very upset. It looked like I had very obvious badly done lip injections. They were so obvious that I had two different people who didn't know each other and didn't know I had my lips done comment on how I had lip injections. One of them commented on one of the lumps/bumps. At this point I just wanted all these fillers out of me. I wanted to go back to looking how I did before. I was confident with my looks before, now I hated looking in the mirror and despised having pictures taken. I went back to Trillium and told them I was unhappy. All they did was gaslight me and tell me everything was fine. They showed me before and after pictures, which I do admit were more flattering due to the lighting. However, I took many pictures as well that clearly show that I had duck lips. My lips which were previously "lifted" and natural looking had now become swollen, lumpy, and beak-like, similar to Marge Simpson. My top lip now protrudes outwards, it's pointy and overlaps my bottom lip. Also, on top of my right cupids bow there is another "bump" of juverderm that is very obvious. The facial fillers which had now started to settle had also become lumpy and uneven. The right side of my face has folds and lumps where the injections happened. Also the line on the left side of my nose is more noticeable. Words cannot describe how unhappy and filled with regret I am. While I was waiting for Dr.Mckay during my follow-up appointment, I asked one of his staff a question I should have asked long ago: "Is he even a plastic surgeon?" "Uh no...." I wasn't aware that any doctor can do facial fillers. I thought you had to be a plastic surgeon. How naïve I was. It will cost around $1500 to fix what he's done by an actual plastic surgeon. When I told the plastic surgeon a gynecologist did this, she just shook her head. Dr. McKay may be an amazing gynecologist, I don't know. All I can speak on is my experience with dermal fillers. However, in my humble opinion I believe procedures done on the face should be handled by qualified facial plastic surgeons only. Please don't make the same mistake I did and do your research first.
