I mightve enjoyed visiting Laurel if while there I hadnt needed to use a restroom. I asked in the store where the restroom was and I was told they didnt have one. I have never been in a shop where they didnt offer a public restroom, but apparently most of the shops in Laurel do not. The pizzeria across the street from where we were actually had a sign that said no public restroom. No one had one that could use without having to go to a gas station down the way, this made the decision for us that we would just leave Laurel and travel on down the road and stop somewhere else to do our small town tour. I was extremely disappointed since I watch HGTV and the Erin and Ben hometown show.

showed up at 12:50,,no one in office. Called phone number on window, no one answered. Stayed until approximately 1:20 ,still no one showed. Terrible experience.

Could not experience Laurel due to so many streets being worked on at the same time, detours everywhere. Downtown, stores, and shops were closed when we arrived, there was no place to park our car so we could walk because of the street closings and detours. Very disappointing after driving from Chicago and out of our way to see Laurel
