    Went in and picked out several carpet samples but there were no prices. Tony said that he had to call to get prices and he would call me or my husband with the prices. Went in on Friday and on Tuesday still hadnt heard anything.guess they dont need my business. Read the reviews and I think I was saved from a nightmare!

    Let me began on a positive note by commending store workers and labor workers on their friendliness. However the flooring laid began buckling up and cracking after 6 months and within the year began breaking apart. I contacted them twice to have them come look at my floor. I also had two other floor layers to come inspect my floor as well. Wallace Flooring had multiple excuses that didnt make sense as to why my floor did this. I pointed out obvious reasons but they refuted them with excuses as well. 1. My flooring was left out in the cold under the carport until it was laid so it was not given time to acclimate to temperature in my house. 2. The flooring was not laid to allow room for expansion thus causing buckling up in the middle of room. I am not upset these mistakes were made BUT I am upset Wallace Flooring refused to accept blame and make it right. I am upset that not only am I out a lot of money but now I have to put out more money to fix a mess up due to someone elses fault. When you run a business it is your responsibility to fix your mistakes not the customer who trusted you expertise to do the job RESPONSE To Your RESPONSE Concerning My Review Once again Only excuses and lies: 1. You visited my house 2 times and both times were well within the time frame of less than a year. And at no time did you offer to replace or redo my floor. The whole house was buckling up and not just one area. After getting no where with you my son also called on my behave and was told there was nothing they could do and once again you blamed it on the framework of my house or moisture as you put it. By the way , the flooring I chose was suppose to be moisture resistant. I still have the original box with specifications listed on it to prove I didnt make it up. And I can prove that the floor was laid too close to walls leaving no room for expansion which you denied that this type of floor needed expansion room. Bottom line is your company did not even try or offer to fix it. No floor should buckle after 6 months.

    I wish I knew where to start with this review. First, check out the text messages and video I added to the photos section. I promise to be adding more. I have known Myron Wallace a long time and for him to do me so bad on my floor install is just beyond just poor customer service. This has been a full year of a horrible experience with Wallace Carpet barn. This is one of the worst floor installations I have ever seen as well. They dont return calls or texts messages except to tell you they are busy and cant get to you. So, what they are saying is they can do new work to get paid, but they cant come fix what they messed up. My floors pop all over the place when you walk on it. Embarrassing when you have people over. I must explain all the time I had a terrible floor installer. I certainly want the world to know just how bad Wall Carpets does installing floors. The job they did at my house was terrible. The experience all the way through the process was terrible. Not only would I not recommend this company to anyone I am letting the world know just how bad they did on my floor installation. Now that its too late I have talked to other people that are having the same issue as me. I recommend staying FAR away from this company. They did NOT stand behind their work. This is not a squeaky floor rather a floor that pops when you walk on it. But this goes to show just how much Myron Wallace does not care trying to make it sound like a small thing when my floor pops all over. This shows just what his attitude towards customer serve which is terrible certainly in this case. He also claims he took care of it, well I text the very next day telling him he did not get them all fixed and I had new places popping. He refers to a warranty period. My floor has not seen one day that it did not have multiple spots popping in it, not 1. Wallace Carpet Barn and Myron Wallace have not fixed my floors and again I have not had one day without popping sounds in multiple rooms.

Hello Mrs Watts, Thanks for taking the time to review our business. While I regret that there was a problem with the flooring we installed-I would have liked to replaced the areas that were damaged when I looked at it a while back. The manufacturer doesn't cover labor--but we warranty labor for 1 year only. At the time of my 1st visit it was even beyond the 1 year warranty period. Our installers are trained to install by the manufacturers for the products we sell and we are bound to work within their guidlines. Acclimation is not an issue with SPC flooring but enviormental and moisture causing hydrostatic pressure is. If I remember correctly, we did offer to furnish materials and charge only labor if you did allow us to replace the damaged areas. I am aware of the couple of folks that you had to look at the flooring, but as with everything else--the experts just disagree and point fingers at the other. Hopefully, we can make you happier sometime in the future. Thanks
