Nurturing Birth Doula and Photography

Jamie is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for compassionate and professional support during their pregnancy/labor/postpartum. My husband and I hired Jamie as our doula about halfway through my pregnancy. We met with Jamie prior to hiring her and quickly knew that she was who we wanted to support us during this special time in our lives. Jamie is trustworthy and educated, with a great sense of humor. She empowered us to make our own decisions regarding my pregnancy and labor, and supported us along the way, adapting easily to changes in plans. Jamie was easy to reach, and always responded quickly. During labor, she was there the whole time. She provided positive encouragement, hands-on pain management techniques, and support for both me and my husband. We both felt much more at ease having her with us. I cannot say enough about how having Jamie as our doula made my pregnancy/labor/postpartum a positive experience that I will cherish. Thank you!!

Jamie was absolutely wonderful and so comforting to have coach and encourage me during the birth of our first child. She suggested coping techniques, positions and even met with us prenatally to build a birth plan.

Hiring Jamie was hands down one of the best decisions I made while pregnant. Jamie is kindhearted, compassionate, and an extraordinary woman overall. She was always quick to respond, whether it was through text or call and she was always available for any questions, 24/7. Having Jamies support at my birth gave my husband the opportunity to be fully present with me while I was in labor. Through the chaos of active labor, Jamie was such a calm and warm presence in the room. She was able to read my body language and know what support techniques would best suit what I needed. I cant forget to add that she is also a spectacular photographer! She was able to capture the most amazing photos of our home birth. I am forever grateful for this wonderful woman!

We hired Jamie as a photographer but got so much more. Not only did she capture a magical moment for us to cherish forever but she helped make the special day relaxed. She helped me during the birth by providing massage and aided my husband with his support for me. Jamie helped keep both of us calm and gave words of encouragement throughout the labor. After the birth, she even went one step further and checked in with me to see how nursing was going. When I informed her of my struggles, she volunteered to come over and offer some hands on guidance, without hesitation. I didnt feel like she was a hired photographer or doula, she felt like a friend and I will be forever grateful.

Fantastic experience!! Due to giving birth during COVID, the actual birth portion was done virtually but still was very helpful. Our doula kept in close communication with my husband offering suggestions and support the entire time. Both the before and after home visits were extremely helpful and the photo session was priceless. Highly recommend!
