Very nice quiet place . Safety: The stairs to the loft or very steep, I would not recommend for smaller children.

This was a treasure to stay at for the Hattiesburg/Petal, MS area. My husband and I would definitely stay here again! The cabins are new and modern, while on solar power. Everything was very, very clean. The management on the property is kind and helpful if needed. The scenery is breathtaking. The only downside to this place is that it is located near a major highway, so there is a lot of road noise nearby, and not a completely quiet experience as you can hear interstate/highway traffic constantly. However, everything else is superb. Be prepared to bring your own food and drinks though as the nearest amenities are over 12 miles away.

Great hidden gem, so glad we found this place on our road trip. Beds are comfortable, check-in and check-out automated and easy.

We were sent to the wrong cabin and walked into someone else's rental. We then called and told we would receive a call right back. An hour later we were told that the current renter extended their stay and we were to move to the next cabin. The exterior of the property was covered in spider webs. The exterior seat cushions had spots of mold everywhere and the table was dirty. The interior also had cobwebs and spiders on the walls. The fan that provides air to the upper rooms was covered in dust. We were also greeted by two roaches. Unless you find the paper map, you would never know how to make it to the "beach". From your cabin is about a 15' drop off to the river. I spent over $350 per night for this stay and it was way below my expectations. The only positive part was that the beds were comfortable. The host did nothing to rectify the situation, no apology, nothing.. I guess as long as he gets paid, who cares.

Location is exactly in between Orlando and Dallas. Perfect midway stop with a beautiful view! The place is BRAND NEW and immaculate! My only ding came from the horrible road coming in. My small car made it safely tho and they have excellent signage going down the back country roads and throughout the property. The chickens were our FAVORITE THO. Rooms: Clean, cozy, and modern Noteworthy details: Beautiful views and wildlife
