ENCOUNTER ESTATE SALES

Please do not take to heart ANYTHING this person has said about our company. This was posted by a very vindictive person after a very hostile encounter we had with a customer at a sale. This person who listed this review “Sara” did NOT even attend this sale. I believe it was her husband who came to a sale. He was very confrontational and upset before he ever entered the house. I personally spoke to him before he came inside. There was a piece of vintage glass he was interested in that ended up being purchased by another customer. He threw a fit. Very angry and loud. I have about 10 witnesses who saw and heard everything. Some of my employees were actually ready to physically remove him from the property but I told them no. Let me try to talk to him. The angry man was actually a Pastor Which is amazing to me. He acted like he was going to hit me several times. As to the accusation about the use of funds as a nonprofit. This is totally bogus and nothing but angry people trying to make us look bad. The words her husband actually used were “I’m going to ruin you and your company!”We are a 501-c3 nonprofit and ALL PROCEEDS from our estate sales go directly to fund local Christian ministries. This includes a 20 bad men’s six month drug and alcohol recovery facility located in Batesville Mississippi. It also includes a food pantry in Senatobia that feeds over 500 people and families a month. A free Christian counseling center that’s been in operation in Mississippi for 15 years and also a Nondenominational Christian church plant. And visit the Encounter center, which is our recovery center located in batesville. It’s astounding to me that people would go to such lengths to try to sabotage a Christian Ministry simply because they were upset.
