I used CrossCountry Mortgage because when I inquired about having a mortgage go through my LLC, they said they could do it. After quoting me a rate of 10.5%, I agreed because I wanted to build business credit. 45 days into the process and they need an extension because they still need more documents and when I question them about it going through the LLC and not my personal name, the Loan Officer said he was pointless to do through the LLC because it wouldnt show or build business credit and would show on my personal credit just as if I had financed it myself. The rate would go down, but I would need 25% down instead of the initially discussed 20%. Now, 52 days into the process, they are emailing me 13 minutes before business ends on the LAST day to close the loan wanting me to LIE on one final document to close the loan. When I told them they failed to provide financing by the closing date, they said I was at fault and told the selling agent I had decided to not go forward with financing. This cost me my $3,500 earnest money because they would not admit they were unable to close the loan. Extremely unprofessional and asking me to lie on a document to close a loan is illegal. Dont waste your time.

Completely Unprofessional. They took weeks to respond to any questions, then failed to answer those questions, wasted months of our time, and ran MULTIPLE credit inquiries. They were unapologetic and downright rude. There was never any explanation for not getting back to us for weeks at a time but they responded IMMEDIATELY when we said we decided to leave them. The only thing they did for us was waste our time and lower our credit score. There are no words for how frustrated I am by this whole process. Zero stars.
