        This is the hidden gem of lake of the ozarks. A wonderful little resort with great owners and staff. The clubhouse is open 24 hours a day so you can go in and grab a snack or whatever. Its also conveniently located across from another great spot The Cave. The resort has a place for weddings and meetings. There's a little swimming area and boat rental. Just love this place. And to top it off during Halloween season they put on a great haunted maze and great neon pop up bar!

        Short answer: Stunning! HIGHLY recommend!!! Long answer: So cute! We were there over the weekend for my brother's wedding and it is super pretty! The people that worked the event are soooo sweet, especially the lady! She made everything so much more fun and she kept everyone going and the whole event was really down to her, so kudos! I honestly really loved her energy and if it wasn't so far away, I would definitely go back and tip her this weekend just for that alone. I don't have any more photos of the venue, but it's lakeside and you get a really good view! There isn't a whole lot to do here, but for a small (and relatively cheap) venue, it really does wonders. 10/10. So very glad I got to be a part of it.

        My wedding was beautiful, despite issues with the sound system. Until the owner Gena showed up because someone broke a $100 bench. I told them I would pay for it. Considering we paid $3k to be married here, I would think that wouldnt be a problem to handle later. Gena got in one of my bridesmaid face when she asked for a receipt for the bench. And she shoved my father in law when he was trying to get her out of my mother in laws face. All over $100. We paid for the venue until midnight and everyone had rides arranged but she told everyone to leave immediately, even though she got her $100, and said she wanted them all to get DUIs. The video brought tears to my eyes I was so upset. I would recommend going to another beautiful lake venue.

      To review readers, this is the 3rd review this family has written to disparage me and my business. I was not at the event, but I watched security videos and they enjoyed 7 hours of fun, dancing and drinking along with a beautiful wedding. I responded to a crisis call from my staff at 11:30 pm. I arrived and my event manager was crying. My bar manager very upset. Not all drinkers are mean, but these folks are downright mean, foul, full-fledge bullies arguing with themselves, and my staff and then me. They were openly smoking pot and blowing it in my face, a couple had sex at a dining table near the dance floor and another in the bathroom, broke furniture, passed out in our parking lot, it was a mess. (Note: we did not supply the alcohol.) For the first time at the venue, I had to call the police to get them to leave. The cost for her wedding was $2200 which includes a Bose sound system for playlist linked to Spotify. She sent her playlist through the Spotify but did not send her mash-up song that way. We did not have the ability to support a music file and Spotify would not read it either, so we tried to help by improvising. There was a delay in getting the mash-up song working for their funny couple’s dance routine. There were not tears at the time and no dramatic issues as recorded on my security videos. When I arrived the bride (Angelique) was already gone. I was not the person 'getting up in anyone faces and no shoving', but this group of drunk circled me and tried to physically intimidate me. I did not back down. I do not like bullies. It is amazing how this group of 15-20 drunks who remained at the venue close to midnight are reporting that I somehow victimized them. They did not want to pay their bar bill, the broken bench charge of $120, or even tip that staff for making their day special so I ended up taking the girls (staff) out to paid time off lunch and pedicure the following week on their behalf. --Gena, The owner
