Creek View Conference Center

I had the opportunity to stay at Old Kinderhook while attending a conference. The conference areas can be divided to allow multiple events in the same space, then adjusted for larger events. The lodge is very pretty with a huge deck that looks out over the sprawling golf course. I don't play golf but Old Kinderhook's beautiful course made me want to learn! The food was very good (I would have underlined if I could have). All that being said, I believe it was the staff that really stood out as the primary asset for the business. From the property manager, (who casually invited me into his office for a cup of special coffee), to the housekeeping staff (who never fail to engage in welcome and friendly conversation), the staff went out of their way to make sure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. Memorable it was! Stay at Old Kinderhook for a few days, play a round of golf on the beautifully maintained course, eat the bone-in porch chop (It's huge) and garlic mashed potatoes (Did I mention the food was very good?), relax in the pool for an afternoon and you'll understand. Old Kinderhook is a great place to be.
