We have had a 5 star review for years sir. I understand you are upset that we caught that you were scamming our client with billing a 21 yard pour that was not done at his property. That is our job as general contractors to protect our clients and the projects they trust us with. Once you were caught you inflated you revised invoice to include an $150 dollar an hour per man bougus hours to shovel to make up for your scam. Im truly sorry you were caught but we take pride in protecting our customers. This was Ricky Simmons with Concrete the Lake. Please review his google reviews. He is a scam artist that I have repeatedly apologized to the client forever allowing him to step foot on his property. I believe honesty is the best policy so to be completely honest we were in a pinch and unaware of his past. We accept full responsibility for this we should of done a full background check. He has a couple of felony theft cases going on. OneI believe is renting and never returning concrete forms from a local supplier. Once his $15,000 deposit check was cashed after not returning them it bounced. Just one case. We accept full responsibility for allowing this type of person and company to ever set foot on one of our project's. To be honest we extremely loyal to our subcontractors. We have used the same concrete contractor for years.And we have never had one lawsuit or lein on any of our projects in 14 years of business at the lake of the ozarks. Unlike your infant company. Many lawsuits!!!! Our regular concrete contractor was awarded the new Topsider Condominiums project and understandably had to back out of this addition. We were scrambling and should of done a better job. We are doing another project where he was also contracted to do a large amount of concrete work. We have nothing to do with hiring him for this. He took $30,000 so far from this nice family and all they have to show for it is a trench dug around their entire backyard and $3000 worth of concrete poured. That was 2 months ago. This sweet family has two small children who have not been able to enjoy their backyard all summer due to this crook. Homeowners have called over 500 times without getting a response, also checked concrete supplier that notified them the $3000 in concrete has not been paid off even with already receiving $30,000 from them...Shameful..Im guessing this Ricky Simmons wife or something, (he warned me if i didn't pay his inflated bill he would ruin our hard earned 5 star review)PLEASE look up Ricky Simmons, Concrete the Lake if this review disturbs you before making judgment.And our normal Concrete subcontractor is now caught up.Also another large reputable concrete subcontractor has agreed to alsofill in any gaps we may have since they know our company well. This issue of allowing this type of subcontractor on a project will never happen again.
