    It is unfair for me to rate the Salon because I don't have an issue with Hairitage Salon at all and the barbers and stylists appear to do a beautiful job. However, the loctitian is who the review is about. I have used Titi for less than a year. She does well in styling locs; however, she rates poor in customer service. During my last three visits she has been habitually late. For example, my prior appointment she scheduled a time. I informed her that this is during my work hours and that I needed to go back to work. I called her in advance to confirm and upon arrival, she was not ready and ended up having to do some runs and return an hour, to still have to wait. I overlooked it that time, even though I was unable to return to work due to the lateness. Thus, when I scheduled my next appointment I texted her the day before to confirm time. She stated that she would get back with me that night but never did. That next day, Saturday, I texted and called her several times to confirm my time at 3 pm. Not once did she respond. I drove to the shop 45 mins before 3 pm and she was there, with another client. I asked her had she received my messages and what time should I return. She said "3 pm". I empathically asked her "are you sure" and if she needed to alter the time, please let me know. She continued entertaining her customers and guests in her booth and virtually brushed me off and said yes, she would be ready at that time. My guts, from past experience said that she would not; thus, I returned at 3:15 pm. Upon arrival, she was NOT ready, laughed and told me to wait at the door and she would come out right away. Another 20-25 mins went by before she finally came out to wash my hair. After completion, I went to pay her and she said "oh I don't take Cash-app anymore; you got something else?" I told her was going to run out to my car and would be right back (because I could have taken care of it after going to get something from my car) and she said "ain't you got something else? This is not personal, just business!" I then told her that business also means being timely, respecting your customers' time, communicating time and payment changes in advance and that she should have informed me if she was going to be 45 mins late in service. She made NO attempts to notify me. Then she began BLAMING her customers for her tardiness! On top of it, she looked at me with a blank look, did NOT once offer an apology for the lateness, no reduction in cost for her lateness, or any consideration change with payment method or ANYTHING! I will NEVER go back or refer her (and I had referred her and informed the person who referred me who also stated that they have experienced the same thing). It may not matter that she loses my business but poor service has caused her my moving on and others that I had referred. It doesn't matter if you can do quality work if you provide horrid customer service. I'd rather go to a stylist who respects and appreciates all of their customers' business and time.

She is so kind and her work speaks for itself. I wish I still lived in MO. Not only is she amazing at doing hair she will beat your face to the 10s.
