    Not once during my time going to this (DDS) did he ever do gum probing to check my gum health. I was used to getting this as part of my regular check ups with my prior dentist, as well as a thorough check of my teeth. Every visit with (Dr.) Fish, I felt like he barely even checked my teeth. (Assistant) barely did anything. And yes, that front desk person should not be working front desk. I cannot believe she is still there after all the reviews I just saw. I thought it must just be me she did not like. I'm sorry she does, but at least I'm not the only one she treats that way. After all the reviews I just saw, she must be a relative or why would any (professional) keep someone like that as the first person his patients see.

    I shouldve walked out as soon as I got there. Treated with so much disrespect from the receptionist. This is the nastiest I have ever been treated walking into a business for the first time. I felt belittled by everyone in that office from the time I walked in the door until I walked out. If I wasnt self conscious enough about not having great teeth I felt 100 times worse leaving there. Unbelievable the way they treat their patients. I will never go back. I only went because they were one of the few in the area that accepted my new insurance. I think it will be worth any amount of money I have to pay out of pocket to not have to step foot back in that office. Shame on Dr Fish allowing his receptionist to be so rude. My blood was boiling when I left there. It was 100% the most awful experience ever.

    I was not going to write a review about this office. After reading several reviews where folks had the same experience I did, I decided others should know what to expect from here. I agree 100% that the receptionist is extremely rude. The receptionist with any business, is the face of that business. The first impression one gets from a business is the attitude of the front staff. My suggestion for her is to be cleaning the office at night so she doesn't deal with the public at all. I would not recommend Jason Fish at all. Some may feel he is the best dentist ever. I am not one. My first and only appointment with him, never having met him, he enters the exam room and starts speaking about how he was listening to my conversation with the tech (I literally had no clue who he was and I assumed he was another tech. Surely a professional physician would not engage in an initial conversation this way, Right?) .Never did he introduce himself or make an attempt to greet me as a new client. Quite odd. When I refused the last procedure he suggested, he was quite put off that I wasn't conceding with his suggestions, he promptly finished the exam, was quite curt with his departure and that was that. Going to the dentist is never a good experience. To have that experience worsened by cold, rude and uncaring staff just sealed the deal that I will never go back to this office. Nor will I recommend it. I do agree with a prior review I read. It is quite peculiar that following a negative review of this office, is a glowing review of them. Interesting.....

    We just switched insurance companies, so I was attempting to find a new dentist for my kids and myself. I accidentally came into this office instead of the one directly next door, and I can tell you that even if Dr. Fish is the best dentist in the state of Missouri, nothing could convince me to step foot in that office again. The main receptionist was about one rude remark away from being Dr. Fish's next appointment and she was aware of that as I was escorting my kids to the correct office. Even after she realized that her attitude was uncalled for and that not only myself, but my kids were upset, she still continued her high and mighty BS. I feel bad for the dentist who is losing potential patients because most people don't like being treated like dirt when they walk in the door. Edited to add: after reading many reviews on many other sites including my insurance companies site, I'm not the only one who feels the staff is rude. I also find it funny that after every bad review about the staff, someone comes along to praise them which is hilarious. If you feel the need to defend a place that badly, obviously the reputation is somewhat true. Also coming from someone who has worked in settings like this, even if patients are rude, you still smile and move on. It's part of working the medical field.
