One of the most horrific experiences at any dentist we have ever had. Do not go here! Do not trust him with doing dental work on any member of your family!! Took my children to far superior dentists afterward and every single one we got an opinion from said that they would never have done what this dentist did to my six-year-old daughter. We had prepared her for getting a simple filling and being in the chair for maybe 20 to 30 minutes (because that is what we were told was happening and what we signed a paper for). She was in the chair for over three hours and was not numbed properly and was in so much pain she had tears streaming down her face (to which he completely ignored)! If he had not been halfway through a root canal (that he had neither informed us he was going to do or had permission to do on a baby tooth, I would have taken her away when I found out what he was doing. When I asked him what he was doing (because it was taking so much longer than expected and she was clearly in pain and had her mouth stretched open for hours) he acted mad that I even would dare to ask what he was doing to my own child. I stayed very calm because I didnt want our communication to affect his work on my daughter. Nevertheless, he completely traumatized her and was the most cold and genuinely abusive dentist Ive ever witnessed! She was physically in pain during the procedure and scared to go to a dentist for years after this. She had one cavity! It was a nightmare! He did work in her mouth that he did not tell us about and he did not have permission to do!!! It baffles my mind that he is even allowed to do dental work on children. It makes me sick that his name is on the magnets that the school sends home with every student in the district. I have heard similar horror stories from other parents about T.Wayne Lewis. It never comes as a surprise, sadly.
