Over the years Iv'e done the Growth 360 cohort, the Scale up KC! cohort and 1-one1 coaching at SBDC for my service based business! There are VERY few places with this level of expertise, connections and curriculum to help small businesses owner grow! I highly recommend!

In owning a business, you feel alone. When I found out about the MO SBDC at UMKC, it was a game-changer. I now had advisors who I could bounce ideas off of and vet strategies. I took training classes here and met other business owners who were in similar situations. The peer-to-peer conversations were valuable. No longer did I feel that I had to make decisions on my own. Thank you MO SBDC at UMKC for helping me to understand business better and make strategic decisions going forward.

My first interaction with the MO SBDC was through a class called ScaleUpKC. Through this class I was given a FREE "forever coach" who has changed my life and helped me to make decisions easier in my business operations. It has been nice to have her by my side and available to reach out to when I need advice or someone to check me from time to time lol. She has even come to my business and help me with my team! The ScaleUpKC class helped me to shift my thought process to always think like a CEO and not just a business owner. Since Scale Up I have worked with my coach and taken many other classes through the SBDC. If you are ready to start, grow or scale your business, reach out!
