    I had several projects to get done - putting together a kitchen rolling cart, replace my oil, spark plug and blade on my push lawn mower, and he recalked windows and a tub. Steven did quality work, was knowledgeable, and is reasonable priced.

    If I could give ZERO stars I would! Hired to compete a flooring job and received such horrible work! First, to start every day was never on time. I confirmed the time with him via phone and text message for 9 am; first day he arrived at 11:38am without a call or explanation (honestly, that should have been my indication) the next day he told me hed be there at 9am arrived closer to 10am and the final day I asked him to be no later than 10am as I had a doctors appointment, he showed up at 10:35am. Then the flooring I purchased (which he approved prior to my purchase) has such uneven, jagged and even wavy cuts. Nothing is at the standard quarter of an inch so I cant even cover with half round at this point. My tongue and groove flooring doesnt lock into place in nearly half of the areas. He damaged so many planks that the first layer is stripped or damaged leaving me susceptible to water getting inside the wood and its in the kitchen. The first day I pointed out that the flooring didnt lock and he said hed fix. Didnt happen. I also noticed that my door frame (which was perfectly fine before he stepped foot in my home) had been ripped from the wall and when questioned he said that how he had to put the floor in. I questioned why he didnt go underneath the frame with a tool designed for that and he told me thats not how its done. Now with my frame all busted up, youd think my flooring would be okay, or at least hope so. Yeah, the cuts on it is so far away that Im really not sure why the frame was EVER touched. The second day I showed him where the floor didnt lock and was actually noticeable when walking over and he said he couldnt fix it at that point. The third day I again pointed out the flooring not locking and nothing happened. On this day I also arrived back to my home from my doctors appointment with my front door unlocked and my home left completely unsecured for nearly 2 hours as shown on my ring doorbell. My floor is so botched and its just embarrassing. Its the first thing you see when you walk in my home. I spent $1700 on my flooring materials and now if I want it done correctly, Ill not only have to find a new contractor to complete, but buy all new flooring! Honestly, Im sick to my stomach about this! I am so upset and angry that I was done so horribly! Did I mention this happened the week before Christmas??! So, yeah it was a terrible holiday for me having to constantly see this shotty work! If you get nothing more from my post; dont use him for flooring. Dont just take my word for it, take the carpet measures word from NFM, the other 2 contractors that are working on other parts of my home who has called him a fly by night contractor, the other flooring estimate I received to try to fix his work and was turned down stating it was way too much to fix, to many uneven surfaces and the only remedy was a complete redo, and my three neighbors who said they never want to see his van in our neighborhood again!

    Did three jobs for us. Installed blinds in hard-to-reach corner, cleaned our dryer duct and vent (located on roof), and installed new electrical circuit for my workshop. All work was done in a timely, professional manner at a very competitive rate. I would recommend and will be hiring him soon for more home improvements.

Hi Valencia, I'm sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with my service. There was apparently miscommunication. I will respond to your points of discontent.1) Tardiness - We have a 4 hour arrival window which is stated in our text messages that are sent out through our automated app upon setting up your appointments. I never arrived beyond that window, as also stated on our app, as we time in upon arrival.2) Flooring selection - Your choice was not one of the recommended brands that I suggested. Other brands that I have worked with are better quality and I have much better results with those. Also, I had not finished this job, which would have ended with a better and finished look.3) Door frame - The bottom of the door frame was pulled loose so the flooring could fit under it. Any damage to the frame would have been repaired prior to painting it.4) Home unsecured - On the third day I had to dash to the Emergency Room to have them repair and stitch the tip of my finger. After 30+ years the saw finally got me and I was bleeding profusely and in a lot of pain. I did have my wife call you and explain, then stopped back by to pick up my tools and clean up. At that time I let you know that I couldn't go back to work for a while. After going to the hand surgeon he advised at least two weeks. I apologize for leaving the house unsecured when I left to the ER. Not my standard practice. 5) "Fly-by-night contractor" - I have been doing handyman work for over 43 years. I started my own company over 30 years ago and my company is an LLC and it is insured. I am definitely not your standard "Fly-by Night" contractor that the Nebraska Furniture Mart employee stated I was, nor do I make a point of talking down about other contractors.If you researched you would find that I have hundreds of five-star reviews on various platforms such as Facebook, Thumbtack, Housecall Pro, Angi, Google, and more, plus my own website. My company is small, but quality. I would have come back to finish the job up, but you had already hired someone else. I did waive your entire bill and hope this compensated for the inconvenience of interruption and dissatisfaction you felt.Best Regards. Steven P. Jarrard
