My husband Melvin passed away in March 2021. In 2002, almost 20 years ago, he was working at a job with no benefits and decided to sign up for a policy with Shelter. 9 months after he passed Amy Cameron calls to inform me he still had a policy. She had sent out Christmas cards and got ours back because we had not updated our address. She noticed his age and decided to look online to see if he had an obituary and when she found that she contacted the funeral home to get my cell number. She went above and beyond in a moment in my life that really, truly mattered. This just exhibits the honesty, hard work, determination, and trustworthiness Amy Cameron and Shelter has and is.
