The Landing Hub

Such a fun place! We were only here for a night but could easily have spent a few days. We stayed in the room with 8 pods and everyone loved it. Each pod has it's own interior lights and a fan. We had several children with us from ages 3-15 and the game room had something for them all! Ping pong, pool, and board games for the teenagers and even a train table for the younger children. There is a large kitchen available to use and ample seating. Our room was clean, the location felt very safe, and there is hiking nearby. Our only complaint was the pod mattresses are fairly thin, but the experience is worth it! We were traveling on our way to St. Louis and it was a quick drive in the morning into the city. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip this way! Rooms: The room we stayed in had 8 pods, in groups of 4. Each group had 2 pods on the ground with 2 on top. There were steps up to the top pods. The room was clean, with it's own bathroom Nearby activities: Plenty of hiking nearby, as well as caves and waterfalls. Within a 30-45 minute drive to the St. Louis zoo, Arch, Art museum, etc Safety: Pacific seemed very quiet and safe. Cute older town. The parking lot at the hotel was quiet and very safe

I had a mixed experience at The Landing Hub. I greatly enjoy the Roku TV because of the Maury show being on 24 hours a day. The location is nice with easy access to the highway, plenty of amenities and parking spaces. I did have a few pieces of feedback. I think the Captain rooms could use some form of soundproofing because everything happening in the common area is audible all of the time. It did not feel private at all. Also the fridge in my room was unplugged and damaged creating a frustrating situation with a bottle of YooHoo that I wont get into here. Finally, what is the deal with the policy about pets being able to use the bed? Where in the room are they expected to sleep? I didnt bring pets for this trip but hypothetically if I did I would be frustrated for their comfort. Thank you for the comfortable beds and hot shower.

The room was great and well furnished. Comfortably slept 2 adults a 2 kids, but had plenty of room for 3 more kids. The host was very responsive to all my questions. There was a small issue with the ceiling fan not turning off and the light not coming on on the fan. I message the host about the issue (primarily to make sure I wasn't using the fan remote incorrectly). The host responded very quickly and offered to switch us rooms. It wasn't necessary for us to move, it was only a minor issue. The room is located right off the interstate, so there is a lot of road noise from the highway, but I was so tired I just slept right through it. Overall, a great place to stay. We will definitely stay there again next time we are through the area.
