Dr. Fray was absolutely amazing. He took my fianc and I as last minute a walk ins. He explained everything and his bedside manner is excellent. I will be going back and taking my daughter as well! Glad to know we have found a new chiropractic home here in raytown.

***Failure to refund my money as promised will result in a complaint with the BBB and the state of Missouri and Chiropractor Board.*** ***Adding this review the Fray Chiropractic since Thomas Murray says he owns the practice. However, Secretary of State says business is owned by another individual and Thomas Murray owns no business in Missouri. *** Initially I was thrilled to see Thomas Murray. The community raves about him and the reviews are amazing. I was so thankful for his availability to get me in and also accept insurance.When I met with him he seemed to have an understanding of insurance and what he was saying matched up with my own knowledge of my policy. Thomas Murray didnt take X-Rays which at the time I didnt think anything of until the local community page stated that any chiropractor who doesnt take X-Rays prior to an adjustment is a quack. It got me thinking but I had found relief so I didnt care, I figured he knew what he was doing. Fast forward to when I receive my EOB. Per my EOB, I should have been charged less than I paid. No big deal, or so I thought. I waited almost a month before reaching out to give the office a chance to receive their copy and process the refund. When I finally reached out I was met with an overly aggressive chiropractor who denied ever receiving my EOB even though my insurance had clear date stamps for when it was provided to the office. His immediate aggressive nature did not match the initial person I met and enjoyed. With his initial response being I dont owe you anything I immediately realized that this individual was not who I thought he was. He explained that because I hadnt met my deductible he charged me as a self pay patient. Fortunately, I work in health insurance and have a very large understanding of benefits including my own. When explaining this to Thomas and requesting he call my insurance for clarification he once again became overly aggressive and was sending me multiple emails at 3am all within minutes of the other. When I requested to speak with the owner of the practice he stated he owns the practice, I dont know the truth behind that considering the practice is named after a different provider. My insurance has attempted to contact him, each time hes not available and someone at the office tells my insurance he chose to handle his own billing. Its one thing to not be fully aware of how benefits work and acknowledge there may be an error and notify that youll work on it, its another to immediately become aggressive, email a patient multiple times at 3am, and refuse to educate yourself on contracted agreements he himself agreed on when he agreed to accept insurance. I was really hoping I found a great place but unfortunately I will not return and recommend any of his patients to educate themselves on their health benefits.
