I've found that regret can be a hard thing to live with. I hired RK to replace a backyard patio and truly regret that decision. RK should not be involved in any type of construction especially not something as permanent as concrete. His lack of manpower and proper equipment could be overcome if he took pride in his work, paid better attention to detail and had the least bit of integrity and decency. Unfortunately for me he does not, and I'm left with not only an inferior concrete patio, but also with minor damages to my home and more significant damages to my lawn. I wish I had trusted my gut (and my wife) and terminated the contract before my concrete was poured. After seeing the finished results, I would not let Robert Matthews of RK Investments pour a concrete pad for an air conditioner. I only hope sharing my experience with him will prevent someone else from making the same mistake I did.

DON'T HIRE THIS GUY!! I hired RK to install some foundations. He said it would take about 3 weeks. 10 weeks later, he was only half way done. Granted it did rain off & on. But I terminated my contract due to providing insufficient equipment and labor force to complete the project in a timely manner, inadequate grading of the project site, incorrect installation of drainage pipe elevation, inadequate installation of drilled pier foundations including pier location, rebar installation, concrete placement and top of foundation elevation. Had to pay ~$2000 to have his foundations removed and replaced.

Do not hire this scam artist. He took advantage of me as a woman. Took a month to finish a 500 square ft patio. Lie after lie. Excuse after excuse. Uneven patio. Divots all over floor. Concrete in yard all over house and door window. Broom brushed patio before it was ready and rock is showing.Just a horrid mess.
