Plato's Closet St. Peters

I was reading some of the "negative" reviews on here, and I'm not sure I understand where all the hate is coming from. Yes, the staff is on the younger side, but I was greeted and treated with kindness. They accepted what clothes they could accept and gave me a fair price, not to mention how it was all squared away in a timely manner. I've not one bad thing to comment, will definitely be coming back.

Idk why the reviews are bad, I had a great experience! Found some good finds and was happy with the quality and price. Some people only write reviews when they have bad experiences- which is unfortunate. It is sad how hateful some people can be in reviews- I would like to spread some positivity and say the store was great and everything you could expect from a resale store

This store is a joke ran by a bunch of teenagers with no customer service skills. I dropped my daughters off to do a little shopping on Sunday. It is posted on the door that they close at 6pm on Sundays so I told the girls I would be back by 6 to pick them up. I arrived and parked out front at 5:45pm.there was a long line and I only counted 3 workers. At 6pm a worker went and locked the doors as I sat outside and watched my daughters standing in line with 4 items a piece. At 6:20pm my daughters were STILL waiting in line so I went and knocked on the door. A young lady (teenager) cracked open the door and said we only have 1 register open and the women at the counter has bought 2 bins full of items so it will take awhile and proceeded to shut the door in my face. I waited furiously outside as this grown woman (customer) basically mocked my daughters and said oh they knew I had a lot they should have let you go before me!!!! Long story short my daughters set their items down and walked out of the store empty handed and feelings hurt. The staff was careless and refused to cash them out!!!!!!! We will NEVER give them our business again and for other peoples sake I hope they get better at customer service. Never leave teenagers in charge!!!! Horrible experience.
