SoEl District Lofts

Rented here for a year. Very close to Missouri State Campus. I walked to the bear line just a short distance away. Maintenance staff is very attentive and completes requests in a timely manner. The other review about lights turning on when you dont turn them on is true, so is the easily stained sink. But in my opinion, not a deal breaker. My boyfriend did get his car window smashed while living here but that is pretty common in the Springfield area. They have someone running security frequently and we were alerted by them before we even knew it had happened. Biggest peeve is them not having an elevator considering the apartments are unfurnished. Try lugging a couch up 3 flights of stairs. PIVOOOTTT. Overall, Marty the landlord is a great guy, apartments are well maintained and located conveniently between campus and downtown. I enjoyed living here very much.

Overall great place to live! Management is awesome. Never had an issue while living here. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Overall, do not recommend. Nice apartment but a lot of issues. It is an electrical nightmare!! The bedroom lights use a remote to switch on and off and are not set on different frequencies so when someone next to you or above/under you flips their lights on or off, it messes with yours too. Got woken up multiple times almost every night due to this. No one will do anything to fix it either. The management is very nice here but doesnt do much to help with anything. My place flooded twice, had internet issues multiple times, had electric issues, and I also got charged $12 for a plastic towel rod in the bathroom that broke in half from barley leaning on it. Also the walls are paper thin, cheap appliances and the white kitchen sinks stain easily. It is just overall not worth the price at all!
