I'm excited about started as a tech here. It's a good way to get in and start a path to success. What you take away from it is based off your own abilities and perception. It's a shame when people write bad reviews but you knew the job before hand. We all take a risk so make the best of it. You are the only one who can change things by your attitude and willingness to learn and do things as a team.

If I were looking for a company to handle my telecommunications, I would not choose redneck computers. As a former employee, I witnessed multiple shady and illegal business practices. I witnessed the project manager (Shane) defraud a client. He lied by telling them that their electricians broke multiple legs of fiber optic cable and he said they needed to be re-ran. We ended up charging them tens of thousands of dollars to replace something that didn't even get replaced. He bragged about how much commission he was about to make, and for fooling the lead engineer into thinking the line was broken when in fact it worked perfectly fine. I informed the owner (Bob) and he fired me because I refused to work under Shane any longer. The company redneck defrauded is Niagara Bottling. Niagara hired a company called ATC, and ATC sub contracted the work to us. Yes, that's right. They sub contracted 1099 work to W2 employees; Which is also very illegal and shady. They also don't pay overtime to their employees, because they pay salary. In the state of Missouri you are still entitled to overtime whether you are salary employee or not as long as you're W2; Which I was.I've recently saved up enough money to afford a attorney and will be filling a lawsuit very soon for working conditions and unpaid overtime. Hopefully the lawsuit will shine a light on every grimey thing they've done.In conclusion, if you've done business with redneck in the past 5 years, you should go back and check the work they did.I invite Redneck Computers to sue me for defamation; and will remove this post if anything I've said is found to be untrue.
