I am not exaggerating when I say that I had the best spaghetti in my entire life. Of note, it's not just "spaghetti"... it was the far superior "Spaghetti alla Amatriciana". Don't worry if you're like me and aren't sure how to say "Amatriciana" just say whatever comes to your heart, or point to it emphatically, and then get it, and finally put it in your mouth and prepare yourself to thank GOD for a true Italian dish right here in Springfield, MO. Side note, I am about to gain 10 lbs because I want to try everything on the menu. Everything.

I want to give 10 Stars. My son 16th birthday was coming up I do delivery for a living every time I went into an Italian I asked could they make a muffalata or did they have one on the menu. That's what my son requested for his birthday meal. Everyone told me no. I was looking online to see if they could ship that from back home in New Orleans. Wasn't having any luck there either. Italian kitchen made this for me. It was amazing. Thank you so much at Italian kitchen. Everyone should go and try Italian kitchen. You will not be disappointed. Look how big this muffalata is.

Exactly what downtown needs. More authentic, friendly, low-key, eateries that just do food well. The location is sparse, hidden behind brewco on McDaniel but oh so worth it. Not a dish over $15, amazing desserts, and owners you just want to hug I can't recommend Italian Kitchen enough. 6 stars.

Ok. Literally everyone NEEDS to know about this place. I tried them yesterday Chicken Piccata extra capers , and there mac n cheese.. oh and a desert I can't for the life of me remember the name of it but it was ALL so good.. SO GOOD that I had it again today.. Oh my goodness AUTHENTIC ITALIAN. Amazing Deserts. Alex (who I believe is the owner), he was so very nice and accommodating. As I left he said if there's ever anything else I want on the menu to please ask - I felt like I was at someone's home. I believe they are carry out for the most part, but they can do larger parties. ALSO - love the note that was left. You can tell it was made with love. Sorry I couldn't provide a picture of the food (I ate it right away)
