I recently took a box of old gun parts to Clark. In 1992, when my oldest son, Caleb was 13, with his own money, he  bought used rifle with a 1944 marked Spanish Mauser action. It had been re-barreled and chambered in 308. A Missouri walnut Fajen Sporter stock had been put on it and an early Timney trigger. It was rough but he did the best he could to refinish it at 13 years old. I can't tell you how many deer he's taken with it. Several years ago he retired it because the bluing was thin and it would rust easily if it was in the weather. Then he decided he would take it apart and refinish it again. He did disassemble it, but it sat in a pile for a long time. Last year I retired and had began building, repairing, and modifying some AR-15s,  so he asked me if I wanted to tinker with it.However, when he gave me the list of things he wanted done to it, I knew it was beyond my knowledge and experience, so I took it to Clark - in a box.  When he looked at it, I apologized for its condition, but his response was, "No, this will be fun." So I left it with him. I know it was no easy task given its age, origin, modifications and other unknowns. But Clark did a fantastic job. It took a while, as would be expected. But he refinished it and made the additional upgrades that Caleb requested, like  reshaping the stock, installing cross bolts, and rust bluing the barrel. And so rather than just taking my word for it, here was my son's response that he wrote on one of his social media pages.  "It looks awesome! And I'm sure it will still drive multiple Sierra boat tails through the same hole at 100 yards.... Thank You Pops!! We made a lot of memories with this ole gun. And its something I can pass down to my grand kids some day.

While pheasant hunting this fall the slide on my old shotgun busted.  I've had and used this gun over 40 years and didn't realize how much the gun meant to me.  I really didn't think it could be fixed specially with a new part.  Clark took interest, did the research and found the part.  Part was installed and gun works like the day I bought it.  Price and time of repair was better than I expected.  Highly recommend giving him a try.  Thanks Clark!!

As another review stated, I experienced the same: He didnt return calls, twice I had to go to his home to get his attention. Also After getting the gun back it was very evident he hadnt even taken the gun apart. The gun was very dusty and the screws that had some rust on them had not even been removed. I went to take the gun apart to see if I could figure out what was going on and found a loose screw in the stock and tightened it up and immediately the gun started working. It was obvious he never did do anything with a gun. Im not sure how he stays in business. Be warned!

Do not use! I payed to have my Type 38 arisaka disassembled, cleaned and checked to verify it would be safe to shoot. I gave it to him in May and didn't get it back until almost September. 1. He had to be repeatedly called to get an update (that was after waiting 2 months for a return call the first time then about another month after the 2nd) I only got a response after going back to his home/work and talking to him, and even then he barely returned calls. 2. He spent the entire time he had it trying to take out the tang screw and FAILED. They're is now a broken drill bit in the tang screw. 3. He did not clean the rifle at all. Ran a borescope when I went to pick it up because I reminded him (like with everything). The attached picture show how many patches I ran down the barrel to clean it myself (and thats not all of them). Do not use him if you care about your firearms.
