Home Instead

I was in need of someone to sit with my elderly mother and assist her with things around her home while i went to work and run errands. Home Instead was quick to respond and had someone out within a day. The caretaker was very good with my mom. Even though my mom was unsure about a stranger staying with her, she was well cared for and eventually felt comfortable with them around. Home Instead was well worth it. I was able to get things done and get some relief when I really needed it. My mom is now in assisted living, but I would use Home Instead again if I ever needed then.

My family and I want to express our deepest thanks for the help and support we received from Home Instead. My father had a unique situation in that he was an LVAD patient and most in home help companies refused to help. Home Instead listened to the details of our situation and chose to help. We are forever grateful for that. Alicia, you bent over backwards to help us with our constant changing asks for support hours. I am not sure how you got that done in the short windows we asked for, but we are forever grateful to you and your team. To Shelly, the first afternoon nurse. You were amazing. Completely out of your element because of the LVAD and the nose bleed, but not afraid and never stopped trying to get mom to rest. I appreciate you so much. As anyone reading this review knows, caring of this nature requires trust. That is really hard when you have not met any of the people you need to trust. In my first meeting with Home Instead (Alicia) she made an immediate positive impression and again in her follow through. She met the expectations of support Home Instead promised from the start and to the end of my fathers life. Thank you to everyone at Home Instead!

This company is remarkable! They provide much-needed assistance to my father, who has dementia, several times a week. The extra care and attention to detail they offer make my dad look forward to their visits. I'm grateful for the support and services they provide to our family.

Recommend 10 out of 10! The team at Home Instead came in the last couple of days my 100 year old lived and his final wishes were to remain at home. We were literally amazed at how the cared for my Dad and us. When Ashley came in to sign all the forms, I felt like Id always known her. So caring and compassionate. Greg was so wonderful. He pulled up a chair and sat right next to Daddys bedside with a watchful eye. He talked with him, listened to him, gave him water when he asked, and made him comfortable. Amanda was with us the day Daddy met Jesus and she was such a comfort. Once again, she was focused on him and his needs. She even made coffee for us as wed had a long few days. My Daddy wanted to be dressed because he was taking a trip and Amanda made sure he was dressed just the way he told her. The team is so well trained to be attentive to the person in their care. It allowed us to be a daughter and granddaughter in my Dads last hours. You cannot make a better choice for senior care for your loved one!

I highly recommend Home Instead. They have blessed our family with compassionate care for two of our loved ones, and the caretakers honesty and concern made the experience a blessing not only for our loved ones, but for the entire family. The staff listens to the needs of the client and knowing our loved one is treated well gives the family a lot of peace of mind.
