Neuromuscular massages by John have greatly reduced inflammation that was triggering my severe head and neck pain for years. Many symptoms from my autoimmune disease also calmed down after several treatments. So grateful for the healing I received at Ascend!

John is absolutely amazing. I rotate my services between deep tissue massage and Neuromuscular therapy. Treatments are intense and extremely effective! John is excellent at listening and seeking out the issues so that he can apply corrective therapy.

Thankful to have found a place where I can get true tension released to prevent migraines. When I started going to John I had migraines twice a week minimum and since going the 1st time they were reduced to twice a month if that. I go monthly now, to keep my migraines at bay and have recently also had shoulder/back pain that John was able to relieve in one session. I can't recommend this place enough.

I am so happy for John being able to start his own business! He is so well-trained, knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Seriously the best massages Ive ever gotten. He knows so much about anatomy and physiology that he is able to get to the root of the problem. He worked at a chain in Springfield before opening his own business at Ascend, and I seeked him out to follow him for his massages. Seriously the best! He is following his calling for sure.

Like nothing else. Chronic pain is a mind & body experience. When physical therapy, nerve meds, pain meds, massages, needles didn't work... Ascend Neuromuscular is the only place I've been able to go to get longer-term relief every time. I had a massage again yesterday after 1 month of my mind / body struggling... Today I'm dancing and singing making breakfast. The passion shines through into the body & mind. Have tight muscles that are locked up... John has the key!
