Flame Steakhouse & Wine Bar

I dined at this establishment last evening and ordered the 20oz Delmonico steak. Upon finishing, my waiter took my plate to pack my leftovers into a box. I noticed that he disposed of the bone, which still had a considerable amount of meat attached to it due to my preference of not cutting against it at the time. When I brought this to his attention, he replied, "We typically discard what is deemed inedible unless instructed otherwise." I believe it should be implied that customers expect their entire meal to be packaged unless specified otherwise, rather than having to explicitly request such. This oversight on the waiters part reflects a lapse in service standards, as assumptions can lead to subpar customer experiences. Usually, I wouldnt care, but considering the costs of these plates I found this quite disappointing. Additionally, (very a few times) I observed that the waiter removed plates from our other guests before they had finished their meals. This wasnt as big of a deal as honest mistakes can happen.

The service was great, the food wonderful! Could be a little brighter inside, the eyes aren't what they used to be. Wonderful experience.
