I wish zero stars was an option. I've been trying to get information for over a year on my case. When I finally won, they again can not do simple math. They have short changed my backpack amount and refuse to get a calculator and do the math to correct the error. The customer service reps are extremely rude and unwilling to do basic tasks. I have to call several times to get a half decent worker on the phone.

This was the easiest visit to SSA I've ever had in my life. The guy behind the desk was very professional and polite and did everything to get my wife's SSA check in her account ASAP. She has it shut off because we moved out of a moldy house, was very sick and in-between houses living in a Tent and the renewal paperwork was sent to a very old address in a different state. It was explained that the beneficiary(my wife) is responsible for updating mailing address. This means it was her fault it was sent to the wrong address. Even with all that SS worker said it should be in her account within 3 days and we need it so bad. We used my $800 check for both our bills, food and dependants. Our bills are usually over $1200. Don't call on the phone, if you are near Springfield, definitely go in. The lady on the phone was claiming she would have to wait 2 months nths to get her check back.
